“And Then There Were None”

agatha christie

I really like Agatha Christie. I think she’s very considerate to her readers. Even though she does the same thing over and over in many of her books, I think it’s a kind thing she’s doing.

She helped me feel not lonely at a very bare time in my life. She made the world a better place for me, and was a friend to me when I was alone. I was sad when I realized that I’d read all but her hard-to-find novels, because I felt like I’d lost a friend, and I had to go out into the cold world and look for a new author.

I found Wodehouse after that, and now I don’t feel lonely.

Rex Stout is very exciting, but he isn’t kind. And that’s okay.

I want my books to be kind.
